DO THE DUE! (pun intended)

I observed that in the last decade, we have witnessed the transformation of many pleasure pursuits like photography, public speaking and baking etc. into very profitable enterprises.
You must have heard of, or met a few guys that quit their jobs to pursue their passion-to-profit ventures, and they have been making much "more than a living from their loving".
By the way, if you haven't heard or met anyone who have done that, here is my paraphrased story. After a series of outstanding job stints with various organisations that cut across NGO, HR, Mgt. Consulting and Academia, I dropped my letter of resignation from a good job with the Federal Government in 2013 to pursue my passion for BMC and HCD and with God's grace I have been "making more much more than a living from my loving".
You as well might have long desired to turn your passion into enterprise, however, it has remained a mere dream because of your '8 to 5' job. Consequently, you have resolved that 2015 is the year you "Do-the-Due!" (drop your resignation letter & pursue your passion).
Friend, 'farabale' (hold your horses) before you Do-the-Due, Do Due-Diligence!"
Due-Diligence in this context refers to the comprehensive appraisal of yourself vis-a-vis your proposed undertaken, especially to establish your key assets (knowledge, skills, experiences & networks e.t.c) and analyse market opportunities in order to evaluate your commercial viability.
Chief amongst your Due-Diligence exercise is a very much needed series of "Dry and Wet Run" of your passion to profit venture. The series of "test runs" will help you ascertain the pros and cons of your undertaken and aid you in identifying the possible loopholes in your approach, methodology, skill-sets, products and services.
To mitigate blunders and achieve awesomeness in 2015, we must Do the Due, with Due Diligence.
